Japan 27.05.24 – 14.06.24

This is our first trip to Japan; we did not expect that much, but we had fantastic time in this rising sun country. This is our link from the Track My Tour:

We took a flight from Sydney to Haneda – flight was been delayed and by the time we arrived in Haneda airport, it was already late at night. We decided to catch a taxi from Haneda to Shinjuku Washington Hotel (Annex). The taxi cost us quiet a bit 10,550.00 yen (around AU $110.00)

To our surprise, there are so many shrines in Japan – as you can see here in our photo gallery below

We also visited some of the castles – Toyama Castle and Osaka Castle
Unfortunately, we did not find them impressive – nowadays, they are only serve for museum purposes

We can say that our most memorable site was the Hida No Sato Village – it is an open air museum that the Japan government preserved all the building in that village

At one point, we also managed to go to the magical Nara Park, in this park, we can feed the bowing deer.

Be prepared though, if you feed one deer, the whole family of deer will stick with you, until you no longer have food for them

Both of us (David and myself), really liked the street food – we also managed to go to the famous market in Osaka.
